The Hero System

The hero system is a point based system where you can build anything and everything you want which works great for the Rifts world. The forms of custumization are endless. This is why I putting up information on this campaign long before we get it started. So players can do one of two things. Look over the books themselves to figure out how to make their character, or come up with a well defined character idea so it is easy to put together.

The hero system works within a very familiar set of rules, using attributes, skills, and powers. Your attributes and skill level combine to create a base target number for you skill rolls. You have a rating for offensive combat value and offensive metnal combat value, so you could be the world’s leading telepath, but not be able to harm anyone with it, because you’re horrible at attacking people.
